I just had my wedding here last Saturday. It was a short planning process, less than 7 months. Acquaviva’s wedding coordinator Beata went above and way beyond any and all expectations the entire process. She is so knowledgeable about the venue, local vendors, and weddings in general. Having never had a wedding before there were things I didn’t even think of that she assisted with. The venue itself is gorgeous. What sold us to book the venue, aside from Beata’s amazing assistance, is the incredible food they serve there. You’re not getting basic wedding food here, you’re getting 5 star restaurant food. All of our guests were impressed with the food, the wine, and the beautiful atmosphere. You can also rent a house on their property to stay for the night, as well as another building by the venue to get ready in. I would highly recommend having your wedding here!

This is an amazing place to go for wine tasting and a meal, and I would imagine even more amazing for hosting an event. We went for a tasting and dinner. You get to sample 6 of their wines for a tasting. Their white wines are some of the best around - not too sweet but also full of flavor. Their sangria was also surprisingly complex without being overly sweet. As far as food goes, all their pizzas and pasta are homemade and absolutely fantastic. Since they are only open Fri - Sun, their specials are super fresh and delicious. We had crab stuffed flounder and lobster ravioli (those were the daily specials) and also shared a pizza for an app. The staff is all very courteous and friendly, and Paul at the bar is super knowledgeable about wine as well as the history of the place. He also tells great jokes!

Amazing venue! Highly recommend this venue for weddings. I found this venue on the Knot and when we saw the photos of the place, we knew that this was an amazing place. Then when we got there and met the staff, we signed our paperwork immediately. The staff is amazing both from the restaurant and for the wedding. All of the staff treat their guests like family and friends. They remembered our faces and our names. Beata was amazing as an event coordinator. She was great for communication before the meeting and the day of. We unfortunately were one of the weddings hoping to get married in a vineyard but due to a downpour in October we needed to switch to an indoor ceremony. Despite changing this decision to the absolute last minute we could, the whole staff was amazing through it making sure that everyone was on the same page. In addition, the place is just stunning overall, both indoors and outdoors. We also rented the house attached to the property and that was wonderful to have for ourselves and our bridal party. If you want an all-in-one place, I highly recommend this place. We continue to get phone calls from our family and friends about how much they loved the venue because of food, scenery and staff. We were so happy that everyone loved the place as much as us!

The food quality is what makes this place. It is basically an event venue. If nothing is scheduled you can come and dine in. Don’t expect an authentic Italian quaint atmosphere. It is an open ballroom type atmosphere that you would expect at a wedding reception. Started with wine tasting. Not very knowledgeable wine servers, could not even describe their own wines or suggest a wine based upon my comments. They are just there to pour and we felt that there was a lot of contention among the bartenders. Dinner service was slow. You can definitely tell they are just used to event service. Did not come to table and ask if we wanted to start off with a drink. Just came to take orders and serve. Was disappointed throughout the experience and would have given it two stars, but the food quality took it to four stars.

Brides of color beware. They did not want to talk to me after my partner and I paid them. They tried going around me to speak to my white partner. Messed up everything I asked them to do. Event coordinator was extremely rude and lied all the time. I had to pull up screenshots of a conversation we had through email because she said it never happened. Prepare to wait months for a response you may never get. Then they’ll tell you to “lower your expectations”. We canceled our wedding a year before the date and still had to pay thousands. Terrible experience. Go to any other winery.

We had our “best day ever” at Acquaviva and it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I had 30+ people say it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The venue and grounds are beautiful, the food is impeccable, the service was great! One awesome add on is the guest house on the property. My bridesmaids slept there with me the night before and the bridal party slept there after the wedding. It was the perfect place to get ready on the day of. Through out the process, Acquaviva staff communicated promptly with me, we had the most fun tasting, and we met with one of the owners for our final details meeting. When our wedding coordinator (outside vendor) was late, Acquaviva staff stepped in to start setting up our centerpieces. At the end of the night, we hadn’t gotten any dessert and the staff packaged up 2 cannolis for the groom & I to go. It was above and beyond (and I have high expectations!) I can’t recommend Acquaviva enough.
